Understanding Information Technology

When the word of information technology comes up to the surface, what will people think of? Most people will think about internet and thing surround it. There are lots of things surround internet such as server, Ethernet and Firewall and those things is part of the whole concept of information technology although practically everything that connect with information and how people communicate it considered as part of information technology. 

To make it simple, people can understand information technology as the way of communication, the storage system, the ability to process it and how people make used to those stored information. With this statement, it was easy to see why information technology practically can be traced back way to the very first time when people try to communicate and store their information. 

There are a long story about information technology that can be traced back in the Neolithic period since people try to communicate and store their story with the painting wall until the 14th century where engineering principles to be found and applied in many things including information. A printing press machine is starting the era of programmable device that keep going and been developing until this very day where people start to use internet for everything they do.
